RD 506/2013 Fertilisers

The Atlántica Agrícola Management System is certified under the requirements of Royal Decree 506/2013. The scope of this certification is the manufacture of fertilisers of Groups 1, 2, 3 and 4 according to Annex I of RD 506/2013. This Royal Decree requires us to have an internal quality control system.

Atlántica Agrícola, S.A., as a fertiliser manufacturer, must comply with a series of requirements. Among them, the following aspects stand out:

• A qualified person responsible for quality control.
• A laboratory for analytical controls.
• A quality control plan that foresees procedures, periodicity and frequency of sampling and analysis of both ingredients and final product.

In addition, it is important to have a traceability system in place, as it is a vital tracking mechanism. In this way, all raw materials and final products are identified. Thanks to this process, we can know the origin and destination of each of our products, as well as the different batches of raw materials from which they are made.

Therefore, with our traceability system in place, we are able to identify the path of the products:

• Origin of the components.
• Processes applied to the product.
• Distribution and localisation after delivery.
