Atlántica Agrícola Honduras hosts the international coffee convention

Once again, Atlántica Agrícola hosts the coffee sector’s main producers, technical experts and business owners in La Paz, Honduras, with the aim of sharing the latest technical advances in coffee growing. This international convention is attended by producers and technical experts from various countries such as Spain, Colombia, Peru, Costa Rica, Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua and Honduras.

During the two days of the conference, delegates will be discussing a number of coffee-related topics. The following presentations are scheduled for the convention.

On Friday 25 March the first talk will be:

COFFEE-GROWING IN HONDURAS by the Engineer  Mario Ordoñez, Technical Manager of the Honduras Coffee Institute (IHCAFE).

The following presentations will take place on Saturday 26 March:

GENETICS AND CROP HANDLING by the Engineer Napoleón Matute. Honduras Coffee Institute (IHCAFE).

SEED AND NURSERY HANDLING by presenters Antonio Polanco, from El Salvador, and Eduardo Rivera, from Guatemala.

THE 3 COMPONENTS OF INTEGRATED NUTRITION given by Héctor Sanabria, manager of Atlántica Agrícola Honduras.

BIOLOGICAL CONTROL OF PESTS AND DISEASES by technical experts Rigoberto Funez and Marvin Sánchez, both from Honduras.

TIPS FOR A GOOD CROP AND A HEALTHY PROFIT with talks by the Engineer  Francisco Oseguera, from the Honduras Coffee Institute (IHCAFE) and Fabio Caballero.

QUALITY AND BARISMO SKILLS given by Rony Gamez from Honduras Coffee Institute (IHCAFE)

In addition to these presentations, there will also be a demonstration tasting session and visits to coffee estates in the area.
