In this case, we work extensively to implement and comply with each of the requirements established by these regulations, such as REACH and CLP.<\/p>\n<p>Atl\u00e1ntica Agr\u00edcola presents a register of all the substances it manufactures and also, as a downstream user, monitors its suppliers and the raw materials supplied to ensure that its suppliers fulfil REACH regulations.\u00a0\u00a0We conduct studies on our products to define their hazard classifications.\u00a0\u00a0We develop and update our Safety Data Sheets (Regulation (EU) 2015\/830) as these data sheets are the accepted method for providing information on substances and mixtures in the European Union and form an integral part of the system established by Regulation (EC) 1907\/2006 (REACH). We present notifications of hazardous products to all the toxicological centres in EU countries where Atl\u00e1ntica Agr\u00edcola is present (Article 45 of Regulation (EU) 1272\/2008), which are the responsible bodies for receiving information regarding the health response in case of emergency.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WHAT IS REACH?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Regulation (EC) No 1907\/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It is the European Regulation on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals. It was approved on 18 December 2006 and entered into force on 1 June 2007.<\/p>\n<p>OBJECTIVES<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure a high level of protection of human health and the environment<\/li>\n<li>Promote the free movement of substances in the internal market while enhancing competitiveness and innovation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Atl\u00e1ntica Agr\u00edcola, as a manufacturer, importer and downstream user, \u00a0has some obligations under REACH.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WHAT IS CLP?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Regulation (EC) No 1272\/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>CLP Regulation is the new European regulation on the classification, labelling and packaging of hazardous chemical substances and mixtures and by which Directives 67\/548 \/ EEC and 1999\/45 \/ EC are amended and repealed and Regulation (EC) No. 1907\/2006 (REACH) is modified.<\/p>\n<p>This new Regulation introduces a new system for classifying and labelling chemicals in the European Union based on the United Nations Globally Harmonised System (UNGA).<\/p>\n<p>OBJECTIVES<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Harmonisation of criteria for the classification of substances and mixtures, and labelling and packaging standards for hazardous substances and mixtures<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of a Community list of substances with their classification and harmonised labelling elements (Annex VI, Part 3 CLP)<\/li>\n<li>Creation of a catalogue for classification and labelling of substances on the basis of notifications and applications for registration according to REACH and the Community list of substances with their classification and harmonised labelling<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This Regulation aims to apply the international criteria agreed upon in the United Nations Globally Harmonised System for the Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS) in the EU.
